2018-2019 - Served as Network-Technical Product Manager at OneAsia, during which time I assisted Sing Tao News Corporation with its digital office migration. I developed a Digital Workplace solution for Sing Tao, replacing the old PABX, deploying a unified communications system, installing approximately 1300 Cisco/Polycom IP phones, and providing cloud servers, storage, email, and Office applications. The case study highlighted improvements including: enhanced internal communication, improved mobile work capabilities for journalists, reduced long-distance communication costs, and high availability thanks to the dual-network failover design. I also assisted a French bank in migrating to a new BCP site in Hong Kong. The original BCP site was a cold site and faced contract expiration pressure; OneAsia built a new warm site for them and completed the site delivery within a month and a half, while providing 24/7 monitoring and an access control security system consistent with the original site.
